Failing your History tests consistently doesn't always mean a complete disregard for everything that portrays grandeur of our past. I mean, look at us! I cannot remember when anyone among the five of us passed three history exams in a row and here we are diving deep into the history of a place that even our big, fat history books were too reluctant to do. Raipur Rajbari, situated at a remote village in Birbhum district of West Bengal holds significant details of Bengali architecture that was in practice three centuries back. Those tall gateways, beautiful arches and sturdy beams that still stand strong are a treat to the eyes.
